Notice of Election of Board Members Glacial Ridge Hospital District

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, PURSUANT TO the provisions of Sections 447.31 and 447.32, M.S.A., that an election will be held on November 3, 2026, to elect members of the Board of Directors of the Glacial Ridge Hospital District from the following municipalities, to-wit: The Townships of Grove Lake, Gilchrist, Reno, Westport, and Leven in the County of Pope, State of Minnesota, the Cities of Long Beach and Sedan, in the County of Pope, State of Minnesota and one member At Large of said Board of Directors at the following polling places at all times during which the polls thereof are open in conjunction with the General Election on said date, and for the following offices, respectively: 

At the polling place in the Township of Grove Lake, for the election of a resident of said Township to represent said Township for a term to expire December 31, 2030. 

At the polling place in the Township of Gilchrist, for the election of a resident of said Township to represent said township for a term to expire December 31, 2030. 

At the polling place in the Township of Reno, for the election of a resident of said Township to represent said Township for a term to expire December 31, 2030. 

At the polling place in the Township of Westport, for the election of a resident of said Township to represent said Township for a term to expire December 31, 2030. 

At the polling place in the Township of Leven, for the election of a resident of said Township to represent said Township for a term to expire December 31, 2030. 

At the polling place in the City of Long Beach, for the election of a resident of said City to represent said City for a term to expire December 31, 2030. 

At the polling place in the City of Sedan, for the election of a resident of said City to represent said City for a term to expire December 31, 2030. 

At the regular polling places of each of the Cities and Townships which comprise the Glacial Ridge Hospital District, to-Wit: The Townships of Grove Lake, Chippewa Falls, Gilchrist, Glenwood, Lake Johanna, Reno, Bangor, Westport, Leven, the Cities of Glenwood, Long Beach, Sedan, Villard, and Westport in the County of Pope, State of Minnesota, and the City of Brooten, in the County of Stearns, in the State of Minnesota, for the election of a resident of said District to represent said District at Large for a term to expire December 31, 2030. 

Any person desiring to be a candidate for the Board of Directors of the Glacial Ridge Hospital District may file an application to be placed on the Ballot with the Clerk of the City or Township in which he or she resides beginning on July 14, 2026, and no later than July 28, 2026.
